There is one way to reach the publisher, and it is email. This page explains what to send, what happens to it, and why there is no form here to fill in.

Email the publisher

Write to hello@bitcoindataguide.com. Messages sent to that address reach the people who write and maintain the site. There is no support desk, no ticketing system and no automated reply: a person reads what arrives.

If you are reporting a problem with a figure, it helps enormously to include the page you were reading, the number you believe is wrong, and the source you are comparing it against. A correction that arrives with a citation can usually be checked and applied the same day. A message that says only that a number looks off is much harder to act on.

What to write about

The address is monitored for a small number of things. These are the ones that get a reply.

  • Corrections

    A figure that is wrong, a date that is misattributed, a source that has since been revised, or a claim that overstates what the data supports. Corrections are the most welcome kind of message and are handled first.

  • Data and sourcing questions

    A question about how a particular series was compiled, which source it came from, or why two sources disagree. If the answer is not already on the data sources page, it is worth adding there.

  • Accessibility and technical problems

    A page that does not render correctly, a table that is unreadable on a small screen, a link that has stopped working, or anything that makes the site harder to use than it should be.

  • Permissions and reuse

    A request to quote, reproduce or republish material from the site. The terms of use set out what is permitted without asking; anything beyond that is worth a message.

Why there is no form

A contact form looks convenient, but it means a server somewhere receives and stores whatever a reader types, along with the metadata that comes with the request. This site has no such server and no database of reader messages, and it would rather not build one in order to offer a text box. Email keeps the exchange between you and the publisher, in a place you already control, with a copy you keep.

It also means the site collects nothing when you get in touch. There is no tracking pixel on this page, no analytics script watching what you do here, and no cookie set by visiting it. The privacy policy sets out exactly what the site does and does not collect, and the short version is that it collects nothing about you at all.

One practical note: email is not a secure channel, so please do not send private keys, seed phrases, account credentials or anything else that would be damaging if it were read by someone else. The site will never ask for any of those things, and no legitimate request for them should be trusted.
